Hey Mr. DJ!

It is important to simply acknowledge that there is some good, solid Finnish advertising work! Congratulations to all Finnish Epica winners!

It is also good that the international Finnish Advertising profile has been lifted thanks to the "lobbying" efforts of many with this good work. I have not heard one reference to the "crazy" or "drunken" Finn! Hallelujah!

Again congratulations to all those shortlisted from Finland. Finally, Finns are representing the Finnish Advertising industry and work and not just a few Finns that a few people know. Here's a little slogan for the next year "Finnish Advertising industry and work before personalities!".

Eurobest Director Philip Thomas told me that he was pleased with the numbers of Finnish delegates attending The Festival during these harsh economic times. I think that Eurobest is high value for the investment. You actually get to network, learn, be inspired without the distraction of sun and rosé... Okay... everything has its place.

By the way, Wieden+Kennedy and Baltimore-born Jeff Kling has agreed to come visit Helsinki.
